How and why we Celebrate “Halloween aka All-hollow-tide, at our House!
The Church traditionally celebrates a triduum (Meaning Three Days- The Eve of All Saints, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day
We begin through prayer and fasting on the Eve of All Saint’s day and it is celebrated with a Mass and festivities the following day.
On All Souls’ Day, we pray for the faithfully departed by visiting the cemetery, where flowers and candles are often placed on the gravesites of loved ones. Also a traditional practice of the priests leading a procession around the graveyard and blessing the graves of the faithfully departed.
